The two levels of PRINCE2® certification: Foundation and Practitioner
The Foundation certification is the introduction to the PRINCE2® method. It provides a basic introduction to the principles, topics and processes of PRINCE2®. No project management experience is required for this certification. In addition to basic knowledge, you will acquire important project management skills. With your new know-how, you will be able to work within a team on projects that are managed on the basis of the PRINCE2® method.
The Practitioner certification then focuses on implementation in specific project situations. You will learn how to apply the PRINCE2® method to the requirements, problems and individual phases of a specific project. With this practical knowledge of PRINCE2® you can already manage simple projects in a structured way. Prerequisite is the successful Foundation exam or the acquisition of one of the IPMA and PMI certificates.
