Funding opportunities: What are the education voucher and the AVGS?
Both are funding offers from the employment agency or job center. The education voucher (BGS for short) can be used to finance up to 100% of further vocational training – with the aim of improving your qualifications and increasing your chances on the job market. The AVGS (Activation and Placement Voucher) provides you with targeted support for professional integration, e.g. through coaching or job application training.

AI competence for the job - exclusively for GFN participants
From November 2025, 3 free self-study courses will be available to all participants, providing practical AI knowledge - from the basics and effective prompting to practical instructions on how to use Microsoft Copilot. A GFN certificate is issued upon completion of the three modules. From January 2026, retrainees will also receive a personal Copilot license for the duration of their qualification - including an introduction to Microsoft 365.
