Note: The first two rounds of this retraining program are exclusively 24-month courses.

Full-time | daily teaching time: Mon-Fri from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Online live lessons with – depending on IHK requirements – at least 51% compulsory attendance at a GFN training center in your region.
Course content
The retraining course will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to perform all organizational and administrative tasks with confidence.
You will learn how to work with the standard Microsoft 365 applications, maintain appointments, plan meetings and ensure efficient organization. You will also be familiarized with processing e-mails, writing business letters and internal and external communication.
You will also be prepared for office work in areas such as accounting, human resources and marketing. You will acquire all the skills you need to work successfully in the office and ensure smooth processes.

Company practice phase
Duration of internship (depending on the requirements of the regional IHK):
- 8.5 to 12 months for a 24-month retraining program
- 7.5 to 9 months for a 21-month retraining program
Exam preparation & extended IHK final examination (two assessed parts 1 & 2, which take place separately from each other)
Prerequisites
- Secondary school certificate or several years of work experience
- Basic knowledge of how to use a computer
- Interest in commercial activities and processes
- Good written and spoken German
- Basic knowledge of English
- Participation in a non-binding consultation incl. Aptitude test
